The Glasshouse Garden

at Chelsea Flower Show 2025

Client: Jo Thompson

Returning to the Chelsea Flower Show, this project celebrates The Glasshouse Garden, designed by Jo Thompson and Holloway Studio.

The design was inspired by the women of The Glasshouse, a pioneering social enterprise supporting women leaving prison through horticultural training, resettlement support and employment. At the heart of the design is a translucent elliptical pavilion—created in collaboration with Hollaway Studio that offers a safe space for reflection, connection, and support. After the show, the garden will be relocated to HMP Downview, a women’s closed prison in Surrey.

Working with Stephenson &, this film documented the pavilion at Chelsea, and featured interviews with the design team and Glasshouse to communicate the far-reaching impact of this project.
