FILMS
An experienced documentary filmmaker, Nyima has worked with numerous architectural practices, cultural institutions and charities to create short films covering landscapes, civic and domestic architecture.

RESEARCH
Interdisciplinary research is at the heart of Nyima’s practice. She is currently pursuing a PhD in Architectural Design at the Bartlett School of Architecture, UCL as a Bartlett Promise Scholar.

Nyima has produced, edited and contributed to numerous art and architecture publications including Dezeen, the Architectural Review, the Architects Journal and Recessed Space.

DESIGN
Trained as a Landscape Architect, Nyima teaches at the Grenfell Bains Institute of Architecture and the Bartlett School of Architecture. Previously, she worked for Open City as a Curator, and EAST as a Landscape Architect.

CV
Nyima’s work explores oral knowledge and material culture to write and rethink architectural and landscape history through art-led investigations. Her practice often works with diverse communities to foster critical engagement with the landscapes around them.
Murry has produced, edited and contributed to numerous publications, both artistic and academic including Dezeen, the Architectural Review, the Architects Journal and Recessed Space. Nyima is a co-founder of PATCH Collective, a BIPOC writing collective that curates and hosts public events around the intersection of the built environment and diasporic communities. She has worked with various architectural practices, cultural institutions and charities to create short documentaries covering landscapes, civic and domestic architecture, often with a focus on craft and environmental sustainability.
Murry teaches at the Grenfell Bains Institute of Architecture and the Bartlett School of Architecture, where she is currently pursuing a PhD in Architectural Design as a Bartlett Promise Scholar. Previously, she worked for Open City as a Curator, and East Landscape and Architecture as a Landscape Architect.
