is a River
Client: Thomas Randall-Page, Lucas Facer, Kim Gubbini
Travelling to Luxembourg in the summer of 2024, Nyima worked with the design team to document ‘The Fulilment Centre’ - a playful kinetic water clock that slowly reveals a darker message about the enormity of wealth inequality.
Commissioned by WaterWalls, the project is the first manifestation of a wider and ongoing research project entitled, “Amazon is a River” which delves deeper into the wider systemic issues caused by the unsustainable dominance of Amazon and its exploitative work practices.
Working with Stephenson &, this film documented the opening of the installation and featured interviews with the design team back in their studio in London.
